Activities We feel that it is important to give the children
a wide and varied choice of stimulating activities on a daily basis. The Big Adventure Club will encourage an assortment of
activities in all of its settings and encourage all children to participate where possible. Behaviour Discipline at the club reflects that of caring parents. We encourage the
children to show respect for the staff, for one another, for their belongings, for the building, for the equipment and the
environment. We aim to develop a co-operative atmosphere that positively praises appropriate behavior. High standards of personal
behavior and responsibility are expected from everyone within the respective clubs. Any incidents of ‘bullying’
within The Big Adventure Club are investigated fully, with the parents of the children involved being informed at the earliest
opportunity. Any such incident will be addressed by the supervisor within the unit with time taken to listen to the children
involved and to verify the incident itself. The incident will be ‘addressed’ with appropriate action and only
as a last resort will a child be excluded. Sickness and Medicine’s There

of the respective club will try to contact you through the telephone numbers supplied on your child’s registration form.

with regard to the exclusion of children who are ill or infectious, please read the infectious fevers document, which is available
